Coin "Altai Snowcock" (Tetraogallus Altaicus)

Date of issue: 10 October 2006

     

Diameter – 31 mm, thickness – 2 mm, weight – 11,37 gram

Images and inscriptions of observe and back sides of coins are relief.

The lateral surface (drove) is grooved with 10 sectors of corrugation.

On the face of the coin (averse), on its upper side the state emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan is located and under it there is a two-line inscription "50 ТЕҢГЕ". From the right and left side of the denomination there is the element of national ornament. On the circumference there is the legend "ҚАЗАҚСТАН YЛТТЫҚ БАНКI" (National Bank of Kazakhstan).

On the back side of the coin, on its central part there is an image of two Altai snowcocks. On the circumference there is the legend with the name of the coin "АЛТАЙ ҰЛАРЫ" in Kazakh language and "TETRAOGALLUS ALTAICUS" Latin name of the bird. Figure "2006" indicates the year of coinage.

Spoon-bill (Platalea Leucorodia)

Date of issue: 20 July 2007

         

Diameter – 31 mm, thickness – 2 mm, weight – 11,37 gram

Images and inscriptions of observe and back sides of coins are relief.

The lateral surface (drove) is grooved with 10 sectors of corrugation.

On the face of the coin (averse), on its upper side the state emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan is located and under it there is a two-line inscription "50 ТЕҢГЕ". From the right and left side of the denomination there is the element of national ornament. On the circumference there is the legend "ҚАЗАҚСТАН YЛТТЫҚ БАНКI" (National Bank of Kazakhstan).

On the back side of the coin, on its central part there is an image of a spoon-bill against a background of reed. On the circumference there is the legend with the name of the coin "ЖАЛБАҒАЙ" in Kazakh language and "PLATALEA LEUCORODIA" Latin name of the bird. Figure "2007" indicates the year of coinage.

Tien Shan Brown Bear (Ursus Arctos Isabellinus)

Date of issue: 5 July 2008.

   

Diameter – 31 mm, weight – 11,37 gram

Images and inscriptions of observe and back sides of coins are relief.

On the face of the coin (averse), on its upper side the state emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan is located and under it there is a two-line inscription "50 ТЕҢГЕ". Porcupine (Hystrix Leucura Satunini)

Date of issue: 28 October, 2009.

   

Diameter – 31 mm, weight – 11,37 gram

Images and inscriptions of observe and back sides of coins are relief.

The lateral surface (drove) is grooved with 10 sectors of corrugation.

On the face of the coin (averse), on its upper side the state emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan is located and under it there is a two-line inscription "50 ТЕҢГЕ". From the right and left side of the denomination there is the element of national ornament. On the circumference there is the legend "ҚАЗАҚСТАН YЛТТЫҚ БАНКI" (National Bank of Kazakhstan).

Images and inscriptions of observe and back sides of coins are relief.

The lateral surface (drove) is grooved with 10 sectors of corrugation.

Averse: right part depicts stylized image of pelican head, the face value of the coin «50 ТЕҢГЕ», trade mark of Kazakhstan Mint; left part depicts two birds against water surface background; name of issuing bank in Kazakh «ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ» along circumference.

Reverse: image of Dalmatian pelican; name of the coin "БҰЙРА БІРҚАЗАН" in Kazakh language and Latin name "PELECANUS CRISPUS"; year of coinage “2010”.

«SURNIA ULULA»

Face value: 50 tenge

Date of issue: 11 May 2011.

   

Diameter – 31 mm, thickness – 2 mm, weight – 11,37 gram

Images and inscriptions of observe and back sides of coins are relief.

The lateral surface (drove) is grooved with 10 sectors of corrugation.
Averse: right part depicts stylized image of pelican head, the face value of the coin «50 ТЕҢГЕ», trade mark of Kazakhstan Mint; left part depicts two birds against water surface background; name of issuing bank in Kazakh «ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ» along circumference.

Reverse: image of hawk-owl, name of the coin «ҚАРШЫҒА РЕНДІ ЖАПАЛАҚ» in Kazakh language and «SURNIA ULULA» in Latin; year of coinage “2010”.

«HIERODULA TENUIDENTATA»

Face value: 50 tenge

Date of issue 24 August, 2012

 

Obverse: In the left part of the coin the legend "50 ТЕҢГЕ" is located, indicating the face value of the coin. Trade mark of Kazakhstan Mint and the figure "2012" indicates the year of coinage. Along the circumference the legend "КАЗАКСТАН YЛТТЫК БАНКІ" in Kazakh language means issuing authority. On the right part of the coin there is an image of the «HIERODULA TENUIDENTATA» in grows - his characteristic habitat.

Reverse: Image of a couple of «HIERODULA TENUIDENTATA». On the circumference there is the legend with the name of the coin ««ДӘУІТ» in Kazakh language and «HIERODULA TENUIDENTATA» - Latin name.
Weight: 11,17 gr.
Diameter: 31 mm.
