On the whole 41,6 mln. transactions to the amount of 538,8 trln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-October of 2020. As compared to January-October of 2019 number of payments in payment systems increased by 21,4% (by 7 317,5 thousand transactions), amount of payments decreased by 16,9% (by 109,4 trln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)
In January-October of 2020 12,0 mln. transactions to the amount of 533,0 trln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 0,5% (by 58,5 thousand transactions) and amount of payments decreased by 17,0% (by 109,5 trln. KZT).
On an average 58,3 thousand transactions to the amount of 2,6 trln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-October of 2020 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2019 in respect of number by 0,6% (by 0,4 thousand transactions) and less in respect of amount by 17,0% (by 0,5 trln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.
Flows of retail payments during January-October of 2020 made up 29,6 mln. documents to the amount of 5,9 trln. KZT. As compared to January-Ocotber of 2019 volume of documents in clearing system increased by 32,5% (by 7259,0 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 2,2% (by 124,0 bln. KZT).
On an average 144,5 thousand documents to the amount of 28,6 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is more than the level of the similar period of 2019 in respect of number of payments by 33,1% (by 35,9 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 2.7% (by 0.7 bln. KZT).
