On the whole 18,7 mln transactions to the amount of 242.0 trln KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-February of 2025. As compared to January-February of 2024 number of payments in payment systems increased by 34.8% (by 4.8 mln transactions), amount of payments by 10.0% (by 22.1 trln KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)
In January-February of 2025 5.8 mln transactions to the amount of 239.8 trln KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 26.0% (by 1.2 mln transactions), amount of payments by 9.9% (by 21.5 trln KZT).
On an average 145.5 thousand transactions to the amount of 6.0 trln KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-February of 2025 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2024 in respect of number by 32,3% (by 35,5 thousand transactions) and in respect of amount by 15,4% (by 798 bln KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.
Flows of retail payments during January-February of 2025 made up 12.9 mln documents to the amount of 2.2 trln KZT. As compared to January-February of 2024 volume of documents in clearing system increased by 39.2% (by 3.6 mln documents), value of payments - by 32.9% (by 534.5 bln KZT).
On an average 321.4 thousand documents to the amount of 53.9 bln KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is more than the level of the similar period of 2024 in respect of number of payments by 46.1% (by 101.4 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 39.6% (by 15.3 bln KZT).
