National Fund for Children is a program designed to generate savings for each child from National Fund’s revenues.
This section posts statistics on movement of funds on individual savings:
- Accrued target requirements – amount that is annually credited to each child from investment income of the National Fund;
- Investment income accrued on target requirements of previous periods minus payments – growth of savings due to investment activities;
- Transfer to operator of the program, UAPF JSC – amount transferred for payments to young citizens who have reached 18 years;
- Total amount of target requirements minus payments – total amount of funds currently as savings.
The data is updated annually.

*Target requirements. In accordance with subparagraph 62-2) of paragraph 1 of Article 3 of the Budget Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, target requirements are obligations of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the age of 18 (eighteen) years, formed annually at the expense of fifty percent of the investment income of the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan averaged over eighteen years preceding the reporting year, and averaged over eighteen years prior to the reporting year, the investment income accrued annually for this amount.
** This table contains information about the amount of money from the National Fund credited to the accounts of all children in the reporting year (accrued target requirements). The amount of funds transferred to the UAPF for the actual payment in the reporting year is also disclosed. The accrual of target requirements and the implementation of payments to persons over the age of 18 occurs once a year according to the Rules approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
