On the whole 112,0 mln transactions to the amount of 1 553.5 trln KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-December of 2025. As compared to January-December of 2024 number of payments in payment systems increased by 27.6% (by 24.2 mln transactions), amount of payments by 4.4% (by 66.1 trln KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)
In January-December of 2025 35.8 mln transactions to the amount of 1 539,2 trln KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 16.7% (by 5.1 mln transactions), amount of payments by 4.3% (by 63.6 trln KZT).
On an average 145.3 thousand transactions to the amount of 6.3 trln KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-December of 2025 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2024 in respect of number by 18.1% (by 22.3 thousand transactions) and in respect of amount by 5.6% (by 330,9 bln KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.
Flows of retail payments during January-December of 2025 made up 76.2 mln documents to the amount of 14.3 trln KZT. As compared to January-December of 2024 volume of documents in clearing system increased by 33.4% (by 19.1 mln documents), value of payments - by 21.0% (by 2.5 trln KZT).
On an average 309.9 thousand documents to the amount of 58.3 bln KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is more than the level of the similar period of 2024 in respect of number of payments by 35,0% (by 80.4 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 22.5% (by 10.7 bln KZT).
