On the whole 63,1 mln transactions to the amount of 847.3 trln KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-July of 2026. As compared to January-July of 2025 number of payments in payment systems decreased by 1.4% (by 910,6 thousand transactions), amount of payments by 5.0% (by 45.0 trln KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)

In January-July of 2026 20.3 mln transactions to the amount of 839.3 trln KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 1.1% (by 217.1 thousand transactions), amount of payments decreased by 5.1% (by 45.1 trln KZT).

On an average 144.7 thousand transactions to the amount of 6.0 trln KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-July of 2026 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2025 in respect of number by 1,1% (by 1.6 thousand transactions) and less in respect of amount by 5.1% (by 321.9 bln KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.

Flows of retail payments during January-July of 2026 made up 42.9 mln documents to the amount of 8.1 trln KZT. As compared to January-July of 2025 volume of documents in clearing system decreased by 2.6% (by 1.1 mln documents), value of payments increased - by 0.6% (by 47.4 bln KZT).

On an average 306.2 thousand documents to the amount of 57.7 bln KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is less than the level of the similar period of 2025 in respect of number of payments by 2.6% (by 8.1 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 0.6% (by 0.3 bln KZT).
