Information about collector’s coins JAMBYL. 175 JYL

2021 marks the 175th anniversary since birth of prominent poet Zhambyl Zhabayev. His works have a special place in the history of folk poetry.

Description of JAMBYL. 175 JYL coins:

On the obverse of the coins, the coat of arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan is depicted in the center. To the left and to the right from the coat of arms, there are elements of the national ornament. QAZAQSTAN ULTTYQ BANKI • NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN legend runs around the circumference. At the bottom, there is 100 TEŃGE legend designating a face value of the coin.

Tail side of the coins has a portrait image of Jambyl Jabayev, in the center – lines from Artyqsha Tugan Azamat verse. To the right, there is a stylized image of a dombra outline from ornamental fragments and 175 JYL legend designating the anniversary date. JAMBYL and QAZAQ HALYQ AQYNY legends run around the circumference. At the bottom, there is ‘2021’ meaning a year of manufacture.

Collectors’ coins JAMBYL. 175 JYL are made from nickel silver МН 25 alloy, with 100 KZT face value, 15 g weight, 33 mm diameter, brilliant uncirculated, 15,000 pieces in circulation.

The coins are intended for sale at a prooflike value. They must be accepted at their face value throughout the Republic of Kazakhstan for all types of payments as well as for crediting to bank accounts and for transfer, they must be changed and exchanged without restriction in all the banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Collectors’ coins were made at the Kazakhstan Mint.
