On the whole 19,5 mln. transactions to the amount of 489 060,0 bln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-July of 2017. As compared to January-July of 2016 number of payments in payment systems decreased by 3,3% (by 662,7 thousand transactions), while increased amount of payments by 54,3% (by 175 286,9 bln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)

In January-July of 2017 8,2 mln. transactions to the amount of 494 586,1 bln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of 2016 number of payments increased by 3,1% (by 249,4 thousand transactions), while amount of payments increased by 54,8% (by 175 033,2 bln. KZT).

On an average 58,4 thousand transactions to the amount of 3 507,7 bln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-July of 2017 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2016 in respect of number by 2,5% (by 1,4 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount by 53,7% (by 1 225,2 bln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.

Flows of retail payments during January-July of 2017 made up 11,3 mln. electronic payment messages  to the amount of 3 473,9 bln. KZT. As compared to similar period of 2016 volume of documents in clearing system decreased by 7,5% (by 912,0 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 7,9% (by 253,7 bln. KZT).

On an average 80,1 thousand documents to the amount of 24,6 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is less than the level of the similar period of 2016 in respect of number of payments by 8,1% (by 7,1 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 7,1% (by 1,6 mln. KZT).
