On the whole 36,6 mln. transactions to the amount of 850 582,5 bln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in 2017. As compared to 2016 number of payments in payment systems increased by 3,5% (by 1 247,4 thousand transactions), while increased amount of payments by 44,0% (by 259 895,3 bln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)
In 2017 15,1 mln. transactions to the amount of 844 150,0 bln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to 2016 number of payments increased by 7,8% (by 1 088,3 thousand transactions), while amount of payments increased by 44,4% (by 259 478,3 bln. KZT).
On an average 61,6 thousand transactions to the amount of 3 445,5 bln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in 2017 which is more than the level of 2016 in respect of number by 7,8% (by 4,4 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount by 44,4% (by 1 059,1 bln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.
Flows of retail payments during 2017 made up 21,5 mln. documents to the amount of 6 432,5 bln. KZT. As compared to 2016 volume of documents in clearing system increased by 0,7% (by 159,1 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 6,9% (by 417,1 bln. KZT).
On an average 87,6 thousand documents to the amount of 26,3 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day in 2017, which is more than the level of 2016 in respect of number of payments by 0,7% (by 0,6 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 6,9% (by 1,7 bln. KZT).
