On the whole 6,8 mln. transactions to the amount of 142 018,8 bln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-February of 2018. As compared to January-February of 2017 number of payments in payment systems increased by 24,1% (by 1 326,5 thousand transactions), while increased amount of payments by 1,8% (by 2,5 trln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)

In January-February of 2018 2,4 mln. transactions to the amount of 141 098,9 bln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 10,7% (by 234,7 thousand transactions), while amount of payments increased by 1,7% (by 2,4 trln. KZT).

On an average 59,1 thousand transactions to the amount of 3 441,4 bln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-February of 2018 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2017 in respect of number by 8,0% (by 4,4 thousand transactions) and less in respect of amount by 0,7% (by 25,4 bln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.

Flows of retail payments during January-February of 2018 made up 4,4 mln. documents to the amount of 919,9 bln. KZT. As compared to January-February of 2017 volume of documents in clearing system decreased by 32,9% (by 1 091,8 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 9,6% (by 80,3 bln. KZT).

On an average 107,7 thousand documents to the amount of 22,4 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is less than the level of the similar period of 2017 in respect of number of payments by 26,9% (by 24,6 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 6,9% (by 1,4 bln. KZT).
