On the whole 16,7 mln. transactions to the amount of 333 170,8 bln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-May of 2018. As compared to January-May of 2017 number of payments in payment systems increased by 20,8% (by 2 872,8 thousand transactions), while amount of payments decreased by 3,8% (by 13,2 trln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)

In January-May of 2018 6,4 mln. transactions to the amount of 330 612,1 bln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 10,2% (by 590,8 thousand transactions), while amount of payments decreased by 3,9% (by 13,3 trln. KZT).

On an average 63,7 thousand transactions to the amount of 3 306,1 bln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-May of 2018 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2017 in respect of number by 9,1% (by 5,3 thousand transactions) and less in respect of amount by 4,8% (by 168,2 bln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.

Flows of retail payments during January-May of 2018 made up 10,3 mln. documents to the amount of 2 558,7 bln. KZT. As compared to January-May of 2017 volume of documents in clearing system decreased by 28,3% (by 2 282,1 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 8,2% (by 193,2 bln. KZT).

On an average 103,4 thousand documents to the amount of 25,6 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is less than the level of the similar period of 2017 in respect of number of payments by 27,0% (by 22,0 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 7,1% (by 1,7 bln. KZT).
