On the whole 20,2 mln. transactions to the amount of 402 293,4 bln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-June of 2018. As compared to January-June of 2017 number of payments in payment systems increased by 21,1% (by 3 521,1 thousand transactions), while amount of payments decreased by 4,0% (by 16,7 trln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)
In January-June of 2018 7,7 mln. transactions to the amount of 399 147,2 bln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 10,1% (by 706,5 thousand transactions), while amount of payments decreased by 4,1% (by 16,9 trln. KZT).
On an average 63,8 thousand transactions to the amount of 3 298,7 bln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-May of 2018 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2017 in respect of number by 10,1% (by 5,8 thousand transactions) and less in respect of amount by 4,1% (by 139,3 bln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System
Flows of retail payments during January-June of 2018 made up 12,5 mln. documents to the amount of 3 146,2 bln. KZT. As compared to January-June of 2017 volume of documents in clearing system decreased by 29,2% (by 2 814,6 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 7,0% (by 205,8 bln. KZT).
On an average 103,0 thousand documents to the amount of 25,0 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is less than the level of the similar period of 2017 in respect of number of payments by 29,2% (by 23,3 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 7,0% (by 1,7 bln. KZT).
