On the whole 23,9 mln. transactions to the amount of 472 335,2 bln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-July of 2018. As compared to January-July of 2017 number of payments in payment systems increased by 22,4% (by 4 372,7 thousand transactions), while amount of payments decreased by 5,2% (by 25,7 trln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)

In January-July of 2018 9,2 mln. transactions to the amount of 468 629,0 bln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 11,8% (by 970,2 thousand transactions), while amount of payments decreased by 5,2% (by 26,0 trln. KZT).

On an average 64,4 thousand transactions to the amount of 3 302,4 bln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-July of 2018 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2017 in respect of number by 10,2% (by 5,9 thousand transactions) and less in respect of amount by 6,0% (by 210,1 bln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.

Flows of retail payments during January-July of 2018 made up 14,7 mln. documents to the amount of 3 706,2 bln. KZT. As compared to January-July of 2017 volume of documents in clearing system decreased by 30,1% (by 3 402,6 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 6,7% (by 232,3 bln. KZT).

On an average 103,6 thousand documents to the amount of 26,1 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is less than the level of the similar period of 2017 in respect of number of payments by 29,3% (by 23,5 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 6,1% (by 1,5 bln. KZT).
