On the whole 27,9 mln. transactions to the amount of 533 921,3 bln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-August of 2018. As compared to January-August of 2017 number of payments in payment systems increased by 19,5% (by 4 565,6 thousand transactions), while amount of payments decreased by 6,8% (by 39,0 trln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)
In January-August of 2018 10,8 mln. transactions to the amount of 529 697,3 bln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 11,4% (by 1 109,8 thousand transactions), while amount of payments decreased by 6,9% (by 39,2 trln. KZT).
On an average 66,1 thousand transactions to the amount of 3 246,0 bln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-August of 2018 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2017 in respect of number by 11,0% (by 6,6 thousand transactions) and less in respect of amount by 7,0% (by 244,0 bln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.
Flows of retail payments during January-August of 2018 made up 17,1 mln. documents to the amount of 4 224,0 bln. KZT. As compared to January-August of 2017 volume of documents in clearing system decreased by 25,3% (by 3 455,8 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 3,1% (by 127,9 bln. KZT).
On an average 105,1 thousand documents to the amount of 25,9 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is less than the level of the similar period of 2017 in respect of number of payments by 17,8% (by 15,9 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 11,2% (by 2,6 bln. KZT).
