On the whole 35,4 mln. transactions to the amount of 669 864,1 bln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-October of 2018. As compared to January-October of 2017 number of payments in payment systems increased by 19,3% (by 5 723,0 thousand transactions), while amount of payments decreased by 6,1% (by 43,8 trln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)

In January-October of 2018 13,7 mln. transactions to the amount of 664 584,3 bln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 12,0% (by 1 468,7 thousand transactions), while amount of payments decreased by 6,2% (by 43,8 trln. KZT).

On an average 66,6 thousand transactions to the amount of 3 226,1 bln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-October of 2018 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2017 in respect of number by 11,4% (by 6,8 thousand transactions) and less in respect of amount by 6,6% (by 229,6 bln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.

Flows of retail payments during January-October of 2018 made up 21,7 mln. documents to the amount of 5 279,8 bln. KZT. As compared to January-October of 2017 volume of documents in clearing system decreased by 24,4% (by 4 254,3 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 1,4% (by 74,3 bln. KZT).

On an average 105,2 thousand documents to the amount of 25,6 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is less than the level of the similar period of 2017 in respect of number of payments by 23,8% (by 20,2 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 0,2% (by 0,5 bln. KZT).
