On the whole 53,4 mln. transactions to the amount of 706,5 trln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-November of 2021. As compared to January-November of 2020 number of payments in payment systems increased by 16,1% (by 7387,4 thousand transactions), amount of payments increased by 21,3% (by 124,1 trln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)

In January-November of 2021 16,6 mln. transactions to the amount of 698,8 trln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 24,1% (by 3217,1 thousand transactions) and amount of payments increased by 21,4% (by 123,0 trln. KZT).

On an average 73,7 thousand transactions to the amount of 3,1 trln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-November of 2021 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2020 in respect of number by 24,6% (by 14,6 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount by 21,9% (by 0,6 trln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.

Flows of retail payments during January-November of 2021 made up 36,8 mln. documents to the amount of 7,7 trln. KZT. As compared to January-November of 2020 volume of documents in clearing system increased by 12,8% (by 4170,3 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 17,7% (by 1158,3 bln. KZT).

On an average 163,6 thousand documents to the amount of 34,3 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is more than the level of the similar period of 2020 in respect of number of payments by 13,3% (by 19,2 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 18,2% (by 5,3 bln. KZT).
