On the whole 48,2 mln. transactions to the amount of 628,6 trln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-October of 2021. As compared to January-October of 2020 number of payments in payment systems increased by 15,8% (by 6576,9 thousand transactions), amount of payments increased by 16,7% (by 89,8 trln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)

In January-October of 2021 14,7 mln. transactions to the amount of 621,7 trln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 23,2% (by 2772,3 thousand transactions) and amount of payments increased by 16,7% (by 88,8 trln. KZT).

On an average 72,6 thousand transactions to the amount of 3,1 trln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-October of 2021 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2020 in respect of number by 24,4% (by 14,2 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount by 17,8% (by 0,5 trln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.

Flows of retail payments during January-October of 2021 made up 33,4 mln. documents to the amount of 6,9 trln. KZT. As compared to January-Ocotber of 2020 volume of documents in clearing system increased by 12,8% (by 3804,6 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 17,4% (by 1021,2  bln. KZT).

On an average 164,7 thousand documents to the amount of 33,9 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is more than the level of the similar period of 2020 in respect of number of payments by 14,0% (by 20,2 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 18.6% (by 5.3 bln. KZT).
