On the whole 27,7 mln. transactions to the amount of 372,4 trln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-June of 2021. As compared to January-June of 2020 number of payments in payment systems increased by 15,9% (by 3787,8 thousand transactions), while increased amount of payments by 5,8% (by 20,3 trln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)

In January-June of 2021 8,0 mln. transactions to the amount of 368,5 trln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 18,0% (by 1223,1 thousand transactions), while amount of payments increased by 5,6% (by 91,4 trln. KZT).

On an average 67,3 thousand transactions to the amount of 3,1 trln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-June of 2021 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2020 in respect of number by 19,0% (by 10,8 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount by 6,5% (by 0,9 trln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.

Flows of retail payments during January-June of 2021 made up 19,6 mln. documents to the amount of 3,9 trln. KZT. As compared to January-June of 2021 volume of documents in clearing system increased by 15,0% (by 2564,7 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 19,3% (by 629,8 bln. KZT).

On an average 165,1 thousand documents to the amount of 32,8 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is more than the level of the similar period of 2020 in respect of number of payments by 16,0% (by 22,7 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 20,3% (by 5,5 bln. KZT).
