On the whole 46,0 mln. transactions to the amount of 582,4 trln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-November of 2020. As compared to January-November of 2019 number of payments in payment systems increased by 22,0% (by 8307,8 thousand transactions), amount of payments decreased by 17,3% (by 122,1 trln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)

In January-November of 2020 13,4 mln. transactions to the amount of 575,8 trln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 2,0% (by 265,4 thousand transactions) and amount of payments decreased by 17,5% (by 122,3 trln. KZT).

On an average 59,2 thousand transactions to the amount of 2,5 trln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-November of 2020 which is less than the level of the similar period of 2019 in respect of number by 2,1% (by 1,2 thousand transactions) and less in respect of amount by 17,5% (by 0,5 trln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.

Flows of retail payments during January-November of 2020 made up 32,6 mln. documents to the amount of 6,6 trln. KZT. As compared to January-November of 2019 volume of documents in clearing system increased by 32,7% (by 8042,3 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 3,2% (by 201,0 bln. KZT).

On an average 144,4 thousand documents to the amount of 29,0 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is more than the level of the similar period of 2019 in respect of number of payments by 33,3% (by 36,1 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 3,6% (by 1,0 bln. KZT).
