About issue of collector’s QAZAQ KÚRESI
National Bank of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the NBK) is issuing QAZAQ KÚRESI collector coins from the "Rituals and National Games of Kazakhstan" coin series.
The coins will be sold through the NBK online store at https://kazcoins.nationalbank.kz starting 17 December 2025.
About the collector coins
"Qazak kuresi" is a traditional Kazakh national wrestling sport, where two wrestlers test their strength, agility and endurance. This martial art has a centuries-old history and is considered an important part of Kazakh culture and sporting heritage.
The coins are made of:
- 925 sterling silver with gold plating, weighing 24 grams, measuring 37 mm in diameter, proof quality, with a denomination of 1,000 KZT, and a mintage of 2,000 (two thousand) pieces;

- cupronickel alloy (MH 25), weighing 15 grams, 33 mm in diameter, brilliant uncirculated quality, with a denomination of 200 KZT, and a mintage of 5,000 (five thousand) pieces;

- nickel silver alloy (MHC 15-20), weighing 11.17 grams, 31 mm in diameter, in uncirculated quality, with a denomination of 200 KZT, and a mintage of 50,000 (fifty thousand) pieces.

All coins must be accepted at their face value throughout the Republic of Kazakhstan for all types of payments, as well as for deposits into bank accounts, transfers and exchanges at all banks in the country.
These collector coins were minted at the Kazakhstan Mint.
