The National Bank of Kazakhstan (hereinafter the NBK) issues into circulation collectible coins “Eurasian Economic Union. 10 years” from the series “Outstanding Events and People”. The coins will be available for purchase via the NBK online store at kazcoins.nationalbank.kz starting from May 24, 2024.

About the “10 years of the EAEU” collectible coins

Collectible coins “10 years of the EAEU" were made in accordance with the proposal of the Eurasian Economic Commission on the issue of commemorative coins in the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union to mark the 10^th anniversary of the organization. The design is based on the official logo of the EAEU and a composition of the national flags of the EAEU member states.

The coins are made of 925/1000 silver using interference rainbow image technology and color printing. The weight of the coin is 31.1 grams, diameter is 38.61 mm, proof quality, face value is 1000 tenge, and a mintage of 1000 pieces.

Coins must be accepted at their face value throughout the Republic of Kazakhstan for all types of payments as well as for crediting to bank accounts and for transfer, they must be changed and exchanged in all banks in Kazakhstan. The coins were produced at the Kazakhstan Mint and are issued in souvenir packaging with numbered NBK quality certificates in the state, Russian and English languages.
