On July 24, 2023, the National Bank of Kazakhstan (hereinafter the NBK) releases into circulation TEMIRBEK JÚRGENOV.125 JYL collectible coins from the ‘Outstanding Events and People’ series.

The coins will be available through the NBK online store https://kazcoins.nationalbank.kz starting from July 26, 2023.

About TEMIRBEK JÚRGENOV.125 JYL collectible coins from the ‘Outstanding Events and People’ series

The coins were issued to mark the 125^th anniversary of Temirbek Jurgenov, who is a figure of culture and art of Kazakhstan. He was the first Minister of Education of Kazakhstan, thanks to whom, in 1934, construction of six largest universities in Kazakhstan and all of Central Asia began in Kazakhstan at once.

TEMIRBEK JÚRGENOV.125 JYL collectible coins are made of cupronickel alloy (CuNi25), weighing 15 grams, with a diameter of 33 mm, brilliant uncirculated quality, denomination of 100 tenge, and a mintage of 10,000 (ten thousand) pieces.

Collectible coins must be accepted at their face value throughout the Republic of Kazakhstan for all types of payments as well as for crediting to bank accounts and for transfer, they must be changed and exchanged in all banks in Kazakhstan.

The collectible coins were produced at the Kazakhstan Mint.
