Obtained evaluations show that Business Activity Index in June inched up to 51.6 (51.1 in May).

The index has grown due to improvement of the parameter in service up to 52.7 (52.3 in May) and industry up to 50.4 (49.6 in May). Along with that, parameter in construction stayed put at 47.6 (47.5 in May).

In the breakdown of regions, improved business activities in June are reported in 10 regions, deteriorated business activities – in 7. The highest level of business activities is reported in Turkestan Region (59.9) and Kostanay Region (58.0), the lowest one in Northern Kazakhstan Region (42,4).

In June 2021, respondents point out improvement in conditions of business conduct in the country. Balance of responses concerning evaluation of current business conditions made 4.7 (4.3 in May). Companies have positively evaluated demand for products/ services, access to finances. Credits and communications and also questions of business protection. Tax burden received negative evaluations.

Companies are now more optimistic about future business conditions for next 6 months: evaluation of future conditions made 21.2 (17.2 in May). As a result, business climate index for economy rose up to 12.8 (10.7 in May).

In June 2021, the poll covered 461 enterprises, including 67 in construction, 175 in industry, 219 in services.
