Heads of the central banks of the EAEU member states took part in the meeting of the Consultative Council of National (Central) Banks, which was held in Bishkek.

Members of the Consultative Council discussed inflation trends and the factors shaping inflation, as well as the state of economic activity in the EAEU member states.

The parties reviewed a comparative analysis of key indicators for credit institutions in the EAEU member states. A discussion took place on the specific features of banking sector regulation in different countries.

During the meeting, the parties also exchanged views on the regulation and development of artificial intelligence in the financial markets of their respective countries.

The next meeting of the Council is scheduled to be held in autumn 2026 in the Republic of Belarus.
