In October, annual inflation in the country made 12.6% (12.9% in September).

Annual inflation slowed down in 10 regions, accelerated in 6, and remained stable in 4.

Food prices in October grew by 13.5% year-on-year (12.7% in September). The highest price increase for this group of goods was reported in Ulytau Region (16.7%), and the lowest in Almaty City (10.4%).

At the end of October, non-food prices rose by 11.0% year-on-year (10.8% in September). The highest increase was recorded in Aktobe Region (14.0%), and the lowest in Almaty City (8.5%).

Growth rate of prices for paid services slowed down to 12.9% year-on-year in October (15.3% in September). However, price growth in Kyzylorda Region (8.6%) was significantly lower than the national average.

In October, monthly inflation nationwide increased by 0.5%.
