The EAEU Member States’ Central (National) Banks Consultative Council meeting was held in Almaty

Heads of central banks of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states took part in the Consultative Council meeting of Central (National) Banks held in Almaty as a part of XIII Kazakhstan Financial Congress.

During the meeting, participants discussed macroeconomic trends and key factors influencing inflationary processes in the EAEU member states as well as exchanged views regarding current issues of monetary policy. The parties shared their experiences on regulation of digital financial assets and cryptocurrencies.

In addition, heads of delegations of the EAEU member states’ central banks participated in the plenary session of the Kazakhstan Financial Congress, which was dedicated to regulation of financial systems amid economic turbulence and digital transformation.

The next Central (National) Banks’ Consultative Council meeting is planned to be held in 2026 in the Republic of Belarus.
