In July, annual inflation in the country was 11.8% (11.8% in June). Acceleration of the annual inflation was recorded in 12 regions, slowdown – in 7, and no change from the previous level in 1 region.

Prices for food products in July made 11.2% in annual terms (10.6% in June). Maximum increase in prices for goods in this group was reported in Akmola Region (14.0%), and minimum – in Almaty city (8.8%).

According to July results, prices for non-food products rose by 9.5% in annual terms (9.4% in June). Maximum value was recorded in Abai Region (12.2%), minimum – in Pavlodar Region (7.0%).

Growth pace of prices for paid services in July slowed down to 14.9% in annual terms (16.1% in June). Along with that, significantly lower than the national level, price growth was reported in Mangystau Region (9.3%).

In July, monthly inflation in the country grew by 0.7%.
