The National Bank of Kazakhstan continues to accept applications for the 5th Scientific and Practical Conference on Monetary Policy and Financial Stability Research.

The conference will be held in Almaty in April-May 2025.

We encourage submissions from higher education institutions (academic staff and doctoral students) and research organizations to take part in sessions on the following thematic areas:

• Long-term trends and new challenges in monetary policy;
• Inflation and inflation expectations;
• The impact of macroeconomic changes on financial stability;
• The role of central banks in maintaining financial stability;
• Risks and challenges for financial markets and institutions.

The conference will feature the results of research by the National Bank, international organizations and academic communities on current issues of monetary policy and financial stability.

Prospective speakers should submit the application form with the paper to conference@nationalbank.kz by February 28, 2025 (inclusive) with the subject line "Application for the Conference Participation".

Authors selected to present their papers at the conference will be notified accordingly.
