The National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan is now accepting applications for participation in the scientific and practical conference dedicated to research in monetary policy and financial stability.

The conference will be held in Almaty in April-May 2025.

Researchers, experts, and practitioners working in the fields of economics, finance, and related disciplines are invited to participate as speakers.

Applications for participation with a presentation are accepted in the following thematic areas:

• Long-term trends and new challenges in monetary policy;
• Inflation and inflation expectations;
• The impact of macroeconomic changes on financial stability;
• The role of central banks in maintaining financial stability;
• Risks and challenges for financial markets and institutions.

The presentation must include the results of a scientific study conducted using modern research methodology. The duration of the presentation should not exceed 20 minutes.

The application for a presentation must include:

- Applicant’s information (full name, academic degree, place of work, brief biography);

- Indication of the thematic area to which the presentation relates;

- A detailed abstract of the presentation in PDF format, ranging from 2,000 to 7,000 characters. The abstract should provide a clear description of the problem under consideration, research methodology, main findings, their justification, and novelty.
