Interstate Bank member states discussed outcomes of the Bank’s operations in 2020

Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Mrs. Aliya Moldabekova, participated in the 62nd Interstate Bank’s Council meeting.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the central banks of Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.

The meeting attendees discussed the results of the Interstate Bank's operations and budget performance in 2020, and were informed on the progress report of the Internal Audit and Control Service.

The members of the Council have exchanged views on the core lines of work for 2021 – 2025, considered measures to improve the efficiency of the institute's operations amidst the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, and also approved the work scope in the context of digital transformation.

The Interstate Bank was established in 1993 and is an international settlement and financial institution of the CIS member states. The Interstate Bank has representative offices in Armenia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan.

The Interstate Bank is rated BB+, Outlook Stable by Fitch Ratings.
