The United Arab Emirates
Cooperation with the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates is implemented within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Bank of Kazakhstan and the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates that was signed on 27 October 2014. The Memorandum provides for enhancing cooperation between central banks of the two countries in the area of the financial supervision and Islamic finance. Since January 1, 2020 the successor of this Memorandum is the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Qatar
In the course of official visit of Kazakhstan’s President to the Qatar on 25-26 October 2015, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the National Bank of Kazakhstan and the Qatar Financial Center Regulatory Authority with a view to share information and experience regarding the financial services regulation, as well as the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Bank of Kazakhstan and the Qatar central Bank. Since January 1, 2020 the successor of this Memorandum is the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
