On the whole 22,3 mln. transactions to the amount of 144 148,8 bln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-August of 2015. As compared to January-August of 2014 number of payments in payment systems increased by 2,8% (by 631,7 thousand transactions), while increased amount of payments by 15,0% (by 18 748,7 bln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)

In January-August of 2015 8,8 mln. transactions to the amount of 140 638,0 bln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments decreased by 4,1% (by 377,1 thousand transactions), while amount of payments increased by 15,3% (18 641,3 bln. KZT).

On an average 54,7 thousand transactions to the amount of 873,5 bln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-August of 2015 which is less than the level of the similar period of 2014 in respect of number by 4,1% (by 2,3 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount by 15,3% (by 115,8 bln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.

Flows of retail payments during January-August of 2015 made up 14,5 mln. documents to the amount of 3 510,8 bln. KZT. As compared to January-August of 2014 volume of documents in clearing system increased by 7,5% (by 1 008,8 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 3,2% (by 107,4 bln. KZT).

On an average 89,9 thousand documents to the amount of 21,8 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is more than the level of the similar period of 2014 in respect of number of payments by 7,5% (by 6,3 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 3,2% (by 0,7 mln. KZT).
