On the whole 35,2 mln. transactions to the amount of 232,0 trl. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in 2015. As compared to 2014 number of payments in payment systems increased by 1,5% (by 522,1 thousand transactions), while increased amount of payments by 14,5% (by 29,4 trl. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)

In 2015 13,5 mln. transactions to the amount of 226,5 trl. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to 2014 number of payments decreased by 3,5% (by 489,8 thousand transactions), while amount of payments increased by 14,8% (by 29,3 trl. KZT).

On an average 55,1 thousand transactions to the amount of 924,3 bln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in 2015 which is less than the level of 2014 in respect of number by 3,5% (by 2,0 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount by 14,8% (by 119,4 bln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.

Flows of retail payments during 2015 made up 21,7 mln. documents to the amount of 5 525,8 bln. KZT. As compared to 2014 volume of documents in clearing system increased by 4,9% (by 1 011,9 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 2,5% (by 137,0 bln. KZT).

On an average 88,6 thousand documents to the amount of 22,6 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is more than the level of 2014 in respect of number of payments by 4,9% (by 4,1 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 2,5% (by 0,6 mln. KZT).
