On the whole 2,2 mln. transactions to the amount of 21,0 trln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January of 2016. As compared to January of 2015 number of payments in payment systems decreased by 7,0% (by 162,7 thousand transactions), while decreased amount of payments by 2,9% (by 626,4 bln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)
In January of 2016 863,1 thousand transactions to the amount of 20,7 trln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 1,7% (by 14,3 thousand transactions), while amount of payments decreased by 2,8% (by 600,1 bln. KZT).
On an average 47,9 thousand transactions to the amount of 1,2 trln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January of 2016 which is less than the level of the similar period of 2015 in respect of number by 7,3% (by 3,3 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount by 2,6% (by 29,0 bln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.
Flows of retail payments during January of 2016 made up 1,3 mln. documents to the amount of 298,3 bln. KZT. As compared to January of 2015 volume of documents in clearing system increased by 12,0% (by 177,0 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 8,1% (by 26,3 bln. KZT).
On an average 72,0 thousand documents to the amount of 16,6 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is more than the level of the similar period of 2015 in respect of number of payments by 7,1% (by 5,5 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 3,0% (by 0,5 bln. KZT).
