On the whole 11,4 mln. transactions to the amount of 156 089,7 bln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-April of 2016. As compared to January-April of 2015 number of payments in payment systems decreased by 0,6% (by 64,0 thousand transactions), while increased amount of payments by 98,7% (by 77 553,5 bln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)

In January-April of 2016 4,5 mln. transactions to the amount of 154 391,8 bln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 6,4% (by 268,2 thousand transactions), while amount of payments increased by 100,7% (by 77 473,0 bln. KZT).

On an average 56,4 thousand transactions to the amount of 1 954,3 bln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-April of 2016 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2015 in respect of number by 6,4% (by 3,4 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount by 100,7% (by 980,7 bln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.

Flows of retail payments during January-April of 2016 made up 7,0 mln. documents to the amount of 1 697,9 bln. KZT. As compared to January-April of 2015 volume of documents in clearing system decreased by 2,9% (by 204,2 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 5,0% (by 80,6 bln. KZT).

On an average 88,1 thousand documents to the amount of 21,5 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day in January-April of 2016, which is less than the level of the similar period of 2015 in respect of number of payments by 2,9% (by 2,6 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 5,0% (by 1,0 mln. KZT).
