On the whole 20,2 mln. transactions to the amount of 322 773,1 bln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-July of 2016. As compared to January-July of 2015 number of payments in payment systems increased by 0,5% (by 103,1 thousand transactions), while increased amount of payments by 2,5 times (by 198,1 trln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)

In January-July of 2016 8,0 mln. transactions to the amount of 319 552,9 bln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 4,6% (by 350,5 thousand transactions), while amount of payments increased by 2,6 times (by 198,0 trln. KZT).

On an average 57,0 thousand transactions to the amount of 2 282,5 bln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-July of 2016 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2015 in respect of number by 5,3% (by 2,9 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount by 2,6 times (by 1,4 trln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.

Flows of retail payments during January-July of 2016 made up 12,2 mln. documents to the amount of 3 220,2 bln. KZT. As compared to January-July of 2015 volume of documents in clearing system decreased by 2,0% (by 247,5 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 6,1% (by 184,0 bln. KZT).

On an average 87,2 thousand documents to the amount of 23,0 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day in January-July of 2016, which is less than the level of the similar period of 2015 in respect of number of payments by 1,3% (by 1,1 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 6,8% (by 1,5 mln. KZT).
