On the whole 11,0 mln. transactions to the amount of 277 494,8 bln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-April of 2017. As compared to January-April of 2016 number of payments in payment systems decreased by 3,9% (by 444,5 thousand transactions), while increased amount of payments by 77,8% (by 121 405,1 bln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)

In January-April of 2017 4,5 mln. transactions to the amount of 275 699,1 bln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 0,9% (by 38,3 thousand transactions), while amount of payments increased by 78,6% (by 121 307,3 bln. KZT).

On an average 56,9 thousand transactions to the amount of 3 489,9 bln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-April of 2017 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2016 in respect of number by 0,9% (by 0,5 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount by 78,6% (by 1 535,5 bln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.

Flows of retail payments during January-April of 2017 made up 6,5 mln. documents to the amount of 1 795,7 bln. KZT. As compared to January-April of 2016 volume of documents in clearing system decreased by 6,9% (by 482,8 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 5,8% (by 97,6 bln. KZT).

On an average 82,0 thousand documents to the amount of 22,7 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is less than the level of the similar period of 2016 in respect of number of payments by 6,9% (by 6,1 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 5,8% (by 1,2 mln. KZT).
