On the whole 16,7 mln. transactions to the amount of 418 948,9 bln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-June of 2017. As compared to January-June of 2016 number of payments in payment systems decreased by 3,6% (by 618,2 thousand transactions), while increased amount of payments by 56,1% (by 150 534,8 bln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)

In January-June of 2017 7,0 mln. transactions to the amount of 416 008,5 bln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of 2016 number of payments increased by 2,9% (by 197,3 thousand transactions), while amount of payments increased by 56,6% (by 150 328,1 bln. KZT).

On an average 57,9 thousand transactions to the amount of 3 438,1 bln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-June of 2017 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2016 in respect of number by 2,0% (by 1,2 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount by 55,3% (by 1 224,1 bln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.

Flows of retail payments during January-June of 2017 made up 9,6 mln. electronic payment messages  to the amount of 2 940,4 bln. KZT. As compared to similar period of 2016 volume of documents in clearing system decreased by 7,8% (by 815,5 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 7,6% (by 206,7 bln. KZT).

On an average 79,7 thousand documents to the amount of 24,3 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is less than the level of the similar period of 2016 in respect of number of payments by 8,6% (by 7,5 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 6,7% (by 1,5 mln. KZT).
