On the whole 26,4 mln. transactions to the amount of 643 411,2 bln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January- September of 2017. As compared to January-September of 2016 number of payments in payment systems decreased by 0,6% (by 153,5 thousand transactions), while increased amount of payments by 49,2% (by 212 093,6 bln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)

In January-September of 2017 10,9 mln. transactions to the amount of 638 776,2 bln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of 2016 number of payments increased by 5,5% (by 513,2 thousand transactions), while amount of payments increased by 50,4% (by 211 705,2 bln. KZT).

On an average 60,1 thousand transactions to the amount of 3 509,8 bln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-September of 2017 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2016 in respect of number by 5,5% (by 3,1 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount by 50,4% (by 1 176,3 bln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.

Flows of retail payments during January-September of 2017 made up 15,5 mln. electronic payment messages  to the amount of 4 635,0 bln. KZT. As compared to similar period of 2016 volume of documents in clearing system decreased by 4,1% (by 666,8 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 8,0% (by 343,4 bln. KZT).

On an average 85,1 thousand documents to the amount of 25,5 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is less than the level of the similar period of 2016 in respect of number of payments by 3,6% (by 3,2 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 8,6% (by 2,0 bln. KZT).
