On the whole 29,6 mln. transactions to the amount of 713 886,3 bln. KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-October of 2017. As compared to January-October of 2016 number of payments in payment systems increased by 1,0% (by 302,7 thousand transactions), while increased amount of payments by 48,8% (by 234 135,3 bln. KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)

In January-October of 2017 12,2 mln. transactions to the amount of 708 680,9 bln. KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 5,6% (by 649,2 thousand transactions), while amount of payments increased by 49,2% (by 233 740,9 bln. KZT).

 

On an average 59,8 thousand transactions to the amount of 3 455,7 bln. KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-October of 2017 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2016 in respect of number by 5,8% (by 3,3 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount by 48,4% (by 1 127,6 bln. KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.

Flows of retail payments during January-October of 2017 made up 17,4 mln. documents to the amount of 5 205,4 bln. KZT. As compared to January-October of 2016 volume of documents in clearing system decreased by 2,0% (by 346,5 thousand documents), value of payments increased by 8,2% (by 394,3 bln. KZT).

 

On an average 84,9 thousand documents to the amount of 25,4 bln. KZT passed through clearing system per day in January-October of 2017, which is less than the level of the similar period of 2016 in respect of number of payments by 2,4% (by 2,1 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 7,7% (by 1,8 bln. KZT).
