On the whole 54.6 mln transactions to the amount of 746.0 trln KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-June of 2025. As compared to January-June of 2024 number of payments in payment systems increased by 34.3% (by 14.0 mln transactions), amount of payments by 9.2% (by 62.8 trln KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)
In January-June of 2025 17.1 mln transactions to the amount of 739.1 trln KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 21.0% (by 3.0 mln transactions), amount of payments by 9.0% (by 61.3 trln KZT).
On an average 145.1 thousand transactions to the amount of 6.3 trln KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-June of 2025 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2024 in respect of number by 24.1% (by 28.2 thousand transactions) and in respect of amount by 11.8% (by 661.8 bln KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.
Flows of retail payments during January-June of 2025 made up 37.5 mln documents to the amount of 7.0 trln KZT. As compared to January-June of 2024 volume of documents in clearing system increased by 41.3% (by 11.0 mln documents), value of payments - by 27.4% (by 1.5 trln KZT).
On an average 317.7 thousand documents to the amount of 58.5 bln KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is more than the level of the similar period of 2024 in respect of number of payments by 44.9% (by 98.5 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 30.7% (by 13.7 bln KZT).
