On the whole 37.0 mln transactions to the amount of 486.0 trln KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-April of 2025. As compared to January-April of 2024 number of payments in payment systems increased by 35.0% (by 9.6 mln transactions), amount of payments by 11.2% (by 49.0 trln KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)
In January-April of 2025 11.5 mln transactions to the amount of 481.3 trln KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 22.3% (by 2.1 mln transactions), amount of payments by 11.0% (by 47.9 trln KZT).
On an average 145.1 thousand transactions to the amount of 6.1 trln KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-April of 2025 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2024 in respect of number by 25.4% (by 29.4 thousand transactions) and in respect of amount by 13.9% (by 741.6 bln KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.
Flows of retail payments during January-April of 2025 made up 25.5 mln documents to the amount of 4.6 trln KZT. As compared to January-April of 2024 volume of documents in clearing system increased by 41.6% (by 7.5 mln documents), value of payments - by 32.3% (by 1.1 trln KZT).
On an average 322.7 thousand documents to the amount of 58.2 bln KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is more than the level of the similar period of 2024 in respect of number of payments by 45.2% (by 100.5 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 35.7% (by 15.3 bln KZT).
