On the whole 27.8 mln transactions to the amount of 352.7 trln KZT were conducted through payment systems of Kazakhstan (Interbank System of Money Transfer and Interbank Clearing System) in January-March of 2025. As compared to January-March of 2024 number of payments in payment systems increased by 35.8% (by 7.3 mln transactions), amount of payments by 10.6% (by 33.8 trln KZT).

Interbank System of Money Transfer (ISMT)
In January-March of 2025 8.5 mln transactions to the amount of 349,4 trln KZT were conducted through ISMT. As compared to similar period of last year number of payments increased by 23.2% (by 1.6 mln transactions), amount of payments by 10.4% (by 33.0 trln KZT).
On an average 149.1 thousand transactions to the amount of 6.1 trln KZT passed through ISMT per day in January-March of 2025 which is more than the level of the similar period of 2024 in respect of number by 27.5% (by 32.2 thousand transactions) and in respect of amount by 14.3% (by 766.5 bln KZT).

Interbank Clearing System.
Flows of retail payments during January-March of 2025 made up 19.3 mln documents to the amount of 3.3 trln KZT. As compared to January-March of 2024 volume of documents in clearing system increased by 42.2% (by 5.7 mln documents), value of payments - by 33.7% (by 841.5 bln KZT).
On an average 338.3 thousand documents to the amount of 58.5 bln KZT passed through clearing system per day, which is more than the level of the similar period of 2024 in respect of number of payments by 47.2% (by 108.5 thousand transactions) and more in respect of amount of payments by 38.4% (by 16.2 bln KZT).
