About issue of the "Fauna of Kazakhstan" bicolor coins
National Bank of Kazakhstan is issuing five types of the "Fauna of Kazakhstan" bicolor coins. The collection features rare and unique representatives of Kazakhstan's fauna: AQBÓKEN (Saiga Antelope), ARQAR (Argali), BARYS (Snow Leopard), DÝADAQ (Burtard) and SUŃQAR (Falcon). All coins are designed in a unified style, reflecting the country's natural wealth.
The coins are made of nickel brass/nickel silver alloys, uncirculated quality, with a denomination of 100 KZT, a weight of 6.45 grams, and a diameter of 24.5 mm. There are 3,000,000 (three million) pieces of each coin, with a total mintage of 15,000,000 (fifteen million) pieces.
The coins are intended for free circulation in the Republic of Kazakhstan, along with circulating coins, and will be issued for cash circulation through second-tier banks.

All coins must be accepted at their face value throughout the Republic of Kazakhstan for all types of payments, as well as for deposits into bank accounts, transfers and exchanges at all banks in the country.
These collector coins were minted at the Kazakhstan Mint.
