National Bank of Kazakhstan issues collectible coins for the 30th anniversary of the Constitution
The National Bank of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the NBK) issues KAZAKSTAN KONSTITUTSIYASYNA 30 ZHYL collectible coins from the Outstanding Events and People series.
About KAZAKSTAN KONSTITUTSIYASYNA 30 JYL collectible coins
The 30th anniversary of the Constitution of Kazakhstan is a significant date reflecting historical path of the country to building a rule of law and strengthening the democratic institutions. The Basic Law is a foundation of independence, a symbol of unity and civil harmony.
The coin depicts an open book, representing the country's Constitution, with the number "30" above it, depicted against the background of an outline map of Kazakhstan. In the center of the map, there is shanyrak, which symbolizes the sun. Distinctive feature of the coin is a decorative design of the number "30" using gold plating.
The coins are made:
- of 925 sterling silver with gold plating, weighing 31.1 grams, 38.61 mm in diameter, proof quality, with a denomination of 1,000 KZT, and a mintage of 1,000 (one thousand) pieces;

- of nibrass/nickel silver alloy (bicolor), weighing 6.45 grams, 24.5 mm in diameter, uncirculated quality, with a denomination of 100 KZT, and a mintage of 5,000,000 (five million) pieces.

Information about a sale start date of 1,000 KZT silver coins through the NBK online store will be posted on the official NBK website.
Bicolor 100 KZT coins are intended for free circulation inside the Republic of Kazakhstan, along with other circulating coins.
All coins must be accepted at their face value throughout the Republic of Kazakhstan for all types of payments, as well as for deposits into bank accounts, transfers, change and exchange in all banks of the country.
The collectible coins were minted at the Kazakhstan Mint.
