The National Bank of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the NBK) issues into circulation ULY JENIS. 80 JYL collectible coins from the series "Outstanding Events and People".

Information about a start date of coin sales will be additionally posted on the official website of the NBK.

About collectible coins ULY JENIS. 80 JYL

ULY JENIS. 80 JYL coins are issued as a sign of a deep respect for heroism and dedication of the defenders of the Homeland, in order to monumentalize the historical memory of the Great Victory and foster patriotism among the younger generation. Issue of the coins is timed to coincide with the memorable date and reflects the desire to preserve the cultural and historical heritage.

The coins depict an eternal flame, symbolizing the memory of the fallen heroes. The ornament on the number "80" symbolizes the victory ribbon and is stylized to reflect the elements of the National Flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The coins are made of:

• 925 grade silver with gilding and color printing, weighing 31,1 grams, 38,61 mm in diameter, proof quality, with a face value of 1000 tenge and a mintage of 2 000 (two thousand) pieces;

• nickel brass / nickel silver alloys (bicolor), weighing 7,5 grams, 26 mm in diameter, “uncirculated” quality, with a face value of 200 tenge and a mintage of 10 000 000 (ten million) pieces.

Bicolor coins with a face value of 200 tenge are produced for free circulation in the Republic of Kazakhstan, along with the circulation coins.

Collectible coins must be accepted at their face value throughout the Republic of Kazakhstan for all types of payments, as well as for crediting to bank accounts and for transfer, change and exchange in all banks of the country.

Collectible coins are made at the Kazakhstan Mint.
