The National Bank issues ASTANA QALASYNYŃ BAS MESHITI and FATIMA QOLY collectible coins
The National Bank of Kazakhstan (the NBK) issues ASTANA QALASYNYŃ BAS MESHITI collectible coins from the coin series “Mosques and cathedrals of Kazakhstan” and FATIMA QOLY collectible coins from the series “Magical Symbols”.
Coins will be sold through the NBK online store https://kazcoins.nationalbank.kz, with ASTANA QALASYNYŃ BAS MESHITI available from November 25, 2024, and FATIMA QOLY from November 28, 2024.
About ASTANA QALASYNYŃ BAS MESHITI collectible coins
ASTANA QALASYNYŃ BAS MESHITI coin continues the series of coins called "Mosques and Cathedrals of Kazakhstan". This coin is dedicated to the Central mosque of Astana, which was opened in 2022 and is the largest mosque in both Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The coin's design showcases a stylized depiction of the mosque, accompanied by an Arabic inscription representing a Muslim greeting.
Coins are made of 925 grade silver, proof quality, weighing 31,1 grams, having 38,61 mm in diameter and with the face value is 1000 tenge. Mintage of the coins is 1000 (one thousand) pieces.

About FATIMA QOLY collectible coins
The FATIMA QOLY (Hand of Fatima) coin is the sixth coin in the "Magical Symbols" coin series. The design of the coin features a stylized ornamental image of a protective amulet in the shape of an open palms, known in the cultures of various countries.
Coins are made of 925 grade silver with the use of enamel and gold plating technologies, weighing 31,1 grams, having 38,61 mm in diameter, with an antique silver quality and the face value of 1000 tenge. Mintage of the coins is 3000 (three thousand) pieces.

Collectible coins must be accepted at their face value throughout the Republic of Kazakhstan for all types of payments as well as for crediting to bank accounts and for transfer, they must be changed and exchanged in all banks of the country.
The coins were produced at the Kazakhstan Mint.
