Press release №50. Financing limits for second-tier banks have been set within the framework of the Program of concessional lending to enterprises

National Bank of Kazakhstan allocated additional 200 billion tenge for further implementation of the Program to support entrepreneurs affected by the state of emergency.

Moreover, the scope for big enterprises and entrepreneurs from the agricultural sector was expanded. The duration of the program has been extended until December 31, 2021, inclusive, the validity period of resources – until March 31, 2021, inclusive.

To lend the big enterprises, the list of enterprises in manufacturing and service industries who experienced the state of emergency has been determined. The document was approved by the joint order of the Governor of National Bank and the Minister of the National Economy of Kazakhstan on November 18, 2020.

On November 30, 2020, the limits of financing for the second-level banks were determined based on the analysis of the effectiveness of the implementation of funds by the joint order of the Governor of the National Bank of Kazakhstan and the Governor of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of Financial Market. The new limits are set with the account of the additionally allocated 200 billion tenge.
