Enterprise monitoring
The National Bank of Kazakhstan conducts a survey of enterprises managers on a quarterly basis through its regional branches for examination the business climate in the real sector of the country's economy. The surveys are aimed to identify the main trends in the business environment: the actual values and expectations of enterprises regarding changes in demand for enterprises’ final products, changes in prices for final products, raw materials, changes in the need and availability of credit resources for enterprises.
The Market Review and the Industry-specific Market Review are formed based on the results of quarterly surveys, the Business Activity Index is formed based on the results of monthly surveys.
