The National Bank has released the Monetary Policy Report, May 2026. The report presents forecast assumptions and dynamics of macroeconomic development under the baseline and alternative scenarios until 2028.

The document also contains forecasts of the current account of the balance of payments, data on current macroeconomic state and the conditions in the money, currency and financial markets.

In addition, the report includes boxes on topics such as the impact of the conflict in the Middle East on the economy of Kazakhstan, the role of seasonal adjustment in assessing the dynamics of retail trade, and the mechanism for creating deposit money in the banking system.
